I always say no, but I probably deserve the nickname for the international event that transpired a few years ago. I've been through a lot, and it has made me a better, more caring person, who appreciates life, people, and things more.

"The Future Is Yours" by Michael "MJ The Terrible" Johnson

There isn't a person alive who can see into the future. That means it is unwritten. It hasn't happened yet. Anything's possible. Which means, you can change it, alter it, effect it, put your stamp on it, improve it, make your mark on it, and just about anything else you want to do with it.

"The future is yours", is a saying, but it is also true. You are every bit as capable as the people in your life who have the life and things that you want. The only difference between you and them, is they went after what they wanted, and didn't give up. It's your turn!

I don't want to sound like some ra-yay self help guy, but.....you are capable of doing some shit! I'm certain of it.

I may not know you, but I bet there has been times in your life, where you kicked ass, got stuff done, and it felt good.

That means that kick ass person, who gets stuff done, is inside of you somewhere. Find them! Let that side of you come out more often.

When you really focus, and you see what you are trully capable of, I think you will like the results, and want more. As my old boss and mentor used to say....It's rinse and repeat from there!

IMPORTANT LETTER FROM YOUR FUTURE SELF!

The past already happened. It is over. The future hasn't happened yet. It depends on what you do in the present, which is right now.

If you want a better future, maximize the present. It is so easy to use the "tomorrow" excuse. "Oh, I'll do it tomorrow." It's okay to do that every once in a while, but when it becomes a broken record, the future you dream about, won't look that much different than your life does right now.

"But, I don't have time to work on my future today."

Well, let me ask you a question. If you replaced some of the time you spend watching tv, are on social media, and doing some of the other leisure activities in your life, with time you spend working on your future, how much time would you have to work on your future?

Your past got you to your present. If you like your present life, then you probably did some things right in your past. If you don't like your present life, then make the changes you need to make now, so that your future life is what you want it to be.

The keys to becoming who and what you want to become, are making the decision to change the things in your life that you don't like, finding out how to get from where you are now, to where you want to be, getting started as soon as possible, and following through. 

2018 is just around the corner. You can wait to get started on your future, until the new year starts, or you can get started right now, and hit the ground running in 2018. 

The people who know you can't force you. The only person who can improve your future, and your life, is.....YOU!

Make the decision to do what you've got to do, to make things happen, and get stuff done. Your future self will thank you.

The Difference Between The Doers & The Critics

Putting yourself out there is hard to do. When you put yourself, your ideas, your plans, or your intentions out there, you are opening yourself up to criticism and judgement. 

The bad news is, critics can say some pretty mean things at times. The good news is, you don't have to listen to them, because they aren't in your position, and they don't know what it's like to be in your position. 

Don't let armchair quarterbacks opinions bother you. It is a lot easier to sit back and criticise, then it is to be a doer. 

Remember, doers do, and critics talk about it.

Since critics are going to talk/criticise, nomatter what you do, I say.....GIVE'EM SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT!
